What are project tasks and a project plan?
A project plan is a Gantt view with an overview of a project's tasks assigned to various roles. By using project task management, you can predefine tasks for specific project types.
Roles
Before a project plan can be created, roles must be set up in HR configuration under Global Attributes. The roles created here are roles that the various internal resources on a project can be assigned. These roles are independent of job titles in the company.
Creating a project plan
Before a project task can be created, you must create a project plan. This is done in the Admin hub where you click into Project Task Management. When a project plan is created, it is important to remember that the project plan with its associated tasks will automatically be created when new projects of the selected type are created. Therefore, it is important that the tasks are suitable for all possible projects. Adjustments can be made manually to each individual project after creation.
Click the gear icon and select New and fill in the fields.

| Title | Title for the project plan |
| Select project type | Select which project type this should apply to. It is possible to select multiple |
| Select role | Select which roles are necessary for this plan. It is possible to select multiple |
When you have filled in the fields, click the Save button. You can now create project tasks for the newly created project plan.
If you want to edit or delete an existing project plan, select it from the dropdown menu, click the gear icon, and then click Edit/Delete. When you edit a project plan, you can choose to change all fields.
