The Governing Documents tab (📄 in the bottom menu) gives you direct access to all your company's published governing documents — procedures, manuals, policies, checklists, and templates. These are the same documents that have been published via QDMS in Business Online.

The list shows each document as a card with:

| Title | The name of the document |
| Document number | The company's document code (e.g. BO-POL-00002) |
| Department | The department that owns the document (Business Online, Management, etc.) |
| Category | Document type (Policy, Manual, Procedure, etc.) |
| Revision | Current revision number |
| Download | Button to download for offline reading |
Search and filtering
At the top of the page there is a search field and a filter button.

| Search | Enter a search term — the list filters on title and document number in real time |
| Filter | Filter by department, category, and other custom metadata |
Which metadata fields are available as filters depends on how QDMS has been configured in your tenant. Customisation is done by the system administrator.
Open a document
Tap a document card to open the document in preview. The file opens in the app's built-in document viewer so you don't need to switch to another app.
Download for offline access
For documents you need out in the field where you may be offline, tap the download icon (📥). The document is saved locally on the device and becomes available even without internet.
When you download a document you always get the latest published revision. If the document is updated later, you must download it again to get the updated version.
