Tile Manager (App Tile Manager) is the administration tool in Business Online for configuring the custom tiles that appear in the Functions Overview in the mobile app. It is a SharePoint web part located on the admin page, and is not part of the mobile app itself — but changes made here appear immediately in the app for all users.
Tile Manager is only available to system administrators in Business Online.

Overview
The Tile Manager page gives you full control over which custom tiles appear in the app's Functions Overview, in what order they are arranged, and which ones are active.

Tile types
Tile Manager supports three types of tiles. Each tile is a shortcut to a specific resource or function in the app.

Create a new tile
Tap + New tile to open the tile form.
Fields in the tile form

Tap Save to save the tile, or Cancel to abort.
Tile changes happen immediately in the mobile app as soon as the next refresh of the home screen is fetched. Users do not need to sign out and back in.
Manage existing tiles
Each tile in the overview has the same set of controls.

Order
The order in Tile Manager (#1, #2, #3 ...) determines the order in which the tiles appear on the mobile app's Functions Overview — directly below the standard tiles Oppgaver/Tasks, Arbeidsflyter/Workflows, Sjekklister/Checklist, and KHMS rapportering/Reporting.
Visibility vs. deletion

| Inactive (hidden) | The tile is configured but hidden in the app | Temporary removal — e.g. during link maintenance, or for seasonal content |
| Deleted | The tile no longer exists | Permanent removal |
Use the visibility icon instead of deletion if you may need the tile again later. Then you don't have to configure name, icon, colour, and URL all over again.
Search and filtering
For tenants with many tiles it is easy to find a specific tile.

Best practices
To keep the mobile app uncluttered:
- Limit the number of active tiles to those actually in daily use
- Give tiles short, recognisable names (preferably under 16 characters for best readability)
- Use consistent colours to visually group related tiles
- Test iFrame tiles on mobile before publishing — not every web page is optimised for small screens
- For Governing Document tiles, choose documents users actually need in the field — not the entire document library
The number of tiles per tenant is limited (typically 15). When the upper limit is reached, existing tiles must be removed or deactivated before new ones can be added.
